Alan Watts, on Money
Such an interesting concept. We’ve created sturdy rules and measurements to live by, that, even amidst the great depression – when no real resources had diminished – we led ourselves to believe we had nothing. Yet another advocate to the great theory that “It’s all in our heads”!

Cloud Atlas: A GLMF Review
If you are looking for a visual and cerebral mind-blow, then this movie may just be for you!
This three-hour long epic unveils a tale spanning across a myriad of generations, effectively following the life of a reincarnate as they experience each new generation and the relationships and choices that go along with it. Though this movie does break the three-hour barrier, movie-goers will certainly not be bored, as the film provides a fast-paced narrative, continually keeping the viewer both engaged and entertained.
Be warned, however, as this movie does touch upon a higher-degree of philosophy (as one would expect from the creators of the Matrix) chances are, if you are either naive or less open-minded to philosophical undertones of the film, then this movie may just leave you feeling like you had wasted a good three hours of your life. Bottom line - go see it if you are looking for a visual and cerebral mind-blow; don’t go see it if you are looking for your typical blockbuster-escape peddling action-packed sequences featuring firearms and car chases.
Ultimately, this film may just be an acquired taste.

The ‘Busy’ Trap – NYTimes.com
“…I’ve always understood that the best investment of my limited time on earth was to spend it with people I love. I suppose it’s possible I’ll lie on my deathbed regretting that I didn’t work harder and say everything I had to say, but I think what I’ll really wish is that I could have one more beer with Chris, another long talk with Megan, one last good hard laugh with Boyd. Life is too short to be busy.”
Do you find that you’re always too “busy”? Take a step back and see if being busy is actually being “busy” or if it’s in your head! Food for thought: read the article here >> THE “BUSY” TRAP
