Revisiting My Favourite City - Las Vegas, NV, USA.

Hands down, my favourite city of all time! The real beauty of Las Vegas for me isn’t found in the alcohol or gambling (ie. what most people think of when they think of Las Vegas), it’s actually in the high degree of ingenuity related to entertainment that you can find here.

From the shows, to the venues, to the food, to the architecture, Las Vegas really shines in its ability to create cool stuff. Granted, I’m still a huge proponent of Asia when it comes to technological advancement, but what really sets Las Vegas apart from other Eastern technology-driven locations (like Hong Kong, Singapore, Macao, and Japan) is its central focus on entertainment consumption. The idea isn’t to just spend money here, but to spend it on cool experiences that are unlike any other around the world. Case in point: I highly recommend you check out the newly-built Las Vegas Sphere* and tell me that isn’t the craziest level of ingenuity in support of entertainment that you’ve ever seen! You will undoubtedly be baffled by the life-like realism of pre-recorded concert's like the V-U2* show and the galactic planetary epic, Postcard from Earth*.

Though, one haunting revelation, and something we only found out while on our tour to visit the Hoover Dam (sorry to be a Debbie Downer), is that Las Vegas is actually facing an existential energy crisis that could completely destroy its infrastructure, leaving it an energy-barren wasteland. This is something that most people aren’t talking about, let alone are aware of. Due to climate change, the water at the Hoover Dam is quickly drying up—and since this is a main power source for Las Vegas to keep its lights on, there’s only so much time left to find a viable solution to this crisis.

Granted, there’s still a runway for engineers to figure out a solve for this problem, but it should be put on the table as something to look out for, and is what also makes this a place a “must visit” before it’s too late!

One final fun fact about Las Vegas is that it’s located in close proximity to Nellis Air Force Base* and Area 51*—two very important sites related to the UFO/UAP issue. Could it be that Las Vegas is home to not only the most advanced entertainment technology, but also the most advanced alien technology!? Only time, and disclosure, will tell.

-enjoy the show.
