Views from the ‘Hilltop Lodge’ - Boracay, Philippines.
Admittedly, before actually going to visit it, we were all a little incredulous about the pet-project my dad had been working on for so long—but boy were we wrong.
Though it’s still a work in progress, the vision is clearly there and the bottom-floor rooms are now built up enough to be used, along with the fourth floor rooftop balcony/event space. I’m now pretty stoked to help my dad further it along, even coming up with the name ‘Hilltop Lodge’!
The second highest accessible point for patrons to see Boracay, second only to the observatory, you can actually get a pretty stunning 270-degree (hopefully 360-degree soon) view from the rooftop balcony.
Seen here: the views and daring kids who play on the rooftop balcony enjoying the view and event space for themselves!
Fun Fact: I tried several times (thanks to jet lag) to get a decent time-lapse of the sunrise. We’ll see how it turns out in my upcoming video, but the clouds and rain did inhibit my shot a few of times. ☹
